Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful

Due to the snowstorm today, I was given the option to go home early. Of course I did so I could spend some extra time with my adorable little man!

It was a year ago this past Tuesday that we found out we were expecting Ridley, and I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by! His presence in my life has been so amazing and so wonderful, even before he was born.

Next week Ridley goes back to the doctor for his four-month check. I am excited to see how much he has grown. I'll be sure to update and let you all know too.

Right now the Star Tribune is having a cute baby contest, and we submitted Ridley's adorable picture. Voting begins some time in March, so I'll also be updating here with information about how to go vote for him!

My Funny Valentine

Last Saturday, since Josh was working at a Valentine's-Day-crazy-busy
Punch Pizza, Ridley and I spent the day together. I did have to make a
quick run to work in the morning, but any day I get to spend more time
with Ridley than my co-workers is a good day!

We spent a lot of time playing with his silly monkey and his ring toy.
He also had a bath! Then I got to squeeze in a quick wii fit workout
before Grandpa Jeff, Nana and Auntie Char came over to visit and go to
Dinos with us.

Josh got home from work in time for us to watch SNL with Alec Baldwin
(and the Jonas brothers). I fell asleep halfway through.

This picture makes us laugh every time we look at it. Thought we'd share it. :)

Love and Loss

Ridley's great-grandmother, my sweet grandma, passed away on Saturday, January 31.

She was a wonderful, loving person, and the warm memories I have of her could fill volumes. One of my favorites though, is of the look on her face when I told her Josh and I were expecting.

Ridley got to meet his great-grandma several times, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
